Membership Fees
As of 2021-22 season:
- New Members: $40.00 (via Check) $42.00 (Online payment)
- Renewals: $35.00 (via Check) $37.00 (Online payment)
- Late Fee: $10.00 after August 31st
Trainer Payment
Trainers receive $20 per meeting that they run. However, if there is a meeting 1A and a meeting 1B, the trainer does not get paid for both.
Observer Payment
Observers receive a flat fee of $20.00 per game after paperwork has been completed.
Travel/Lodging Reimbursement
Effective Aug. 9, 2015
Mileage: For any MHSAA-sanctioned business in which a USAOA member has to travel to, the executive board will pay $25 per 100 miles from the member’s home address to the location of the meeting. For example, the trip to St. Johns High School from USAOA president Warren Kent’s home would be 127.2 miles; therefore, he would receive $25. A request in writing (email would suffice) must be made in order to receive funds within 90 days of the event. The board would also like to stress that carpooling should be considered.
Hotel: If lodging is required for any MHSAA-sanctioned business in which a USAOA member must stay overnight, the executive board will pay $100 for a hotel room based on double occupancy. For example, if two people must spend the night, the board will pay up to $100. If the two people want separate rooms, the board will still pay maximum $100 together, not individually. A request in writing (email would suffice) and a receipt must be received within 90 days of the event.
