MHSAA Wrestling Officials Clinic – Site To Be Announced. Rookie Training & Veterans Mechanics Training

Meetings will be at the North Muskegon Northside Pub, with the February 4th meeting at the Brown Bear Restaurant in Shelby.
The MHSAA Wrestling Officials Clinic is planned for Saturday, December 2, 2023 at a site to be announced. Please plan on attending as this counts as a meeting attendance toward your MIGS requirements in 2024/2025 season.
According to the USAOA By-Laws, officials must attend a minimum of 60% of sports-specific training sessions in which you are registered to be granted MIGS status. Therefore, officials should plan on attending a minimum of three (3) sessions. If we can schedule USAOA-approved training scrimmages, officials will be given a maximum of one session credit toward the required 3 credits necessary for MIGS status.
Basketball
Here are the basketball training meetings for the 2023-24 season.
All meetings are on Sundays 6 p.m. at Mona Shores High School; park out front by the anchor, enter building, turn right. Room 501 is at end of hall. (MASKS are optional)
All meetings will last no longer than 1 hour and 30 minutes — guaranteed!
Remember, in order to maintain MIGS status in the USAOA, you must attend more than 60% of the USAOA training sessions.

Our Purpose
Our association is dedicated to high school sports on the west side of the state of Michigan. It is our goal to promote officiating, recruit new members interested in officiating, educate these officials, and train them to officiate at the highest possible level.
